THE SOURCE NOTES
& PERMISSIONS
Four archival photographs are reproduced on this site. The project organizer confirmed on October 25, 2026 that Wally and the credited photographers were present and approved these photographs for the website and downloadable press kit. This records the organizer’s confirmation; it is not an independently verified written license.
Wally’s history
Leucadia Soul — Wally Passet, by Kyle Thomas supplies the historical photo references. The 1985 Snakebyte balcony and 1996 La Paloma performance photos are credited there to Robbie Maya; the 2008 Wally World portrait and September 2021 Wally portraits to Kyle Thomas.
Permission is specific to this project. Copyright remains with the respective rights holders; no open license or unrestricted reuse rights are implied. Files retain their original image content. For other uses, contact the credited photographer through the source feature.
Hero artwork & performance videos
The WALLYpaLEUza banner artwork and two live-performance recordings were supplied by the organizer for this site on October 25, 2026. The hero is a concept composite, not a documentary venue photograph or confirmed event announcement. Its Wally World band photograph is credited to Kyle Thomas. The hero lettering was updated with AI-assisted image editing to read WALLYpaLEUza in the reference-inspired style. The original organizer artwork is retained locally; the standalone archival photographs are unchanged.
The live recordings were converted to smaller web-playable MP4 files without changing their duration. The original recordings remain in the organizer’s local content folder. A recording credit was not supplied; no photographer or videographer attribution has been invented.
Wally World Encinitas. Raise Some Kaine. is embedded from YouTube, where it is uploaded by Jamie Elder. An uploader credit does not imply ownership of every underlying right. The YouTube video has not been downloaded or redistributed.
Original visual identity
The record, star, color palette and festival composition were created for WALLYpaLEUza. The early ’90s poster influence is aesthetic only; this project does not claim affiliation with Lollapalooza.
